Strategic Account Manager - Outside Sales (MI)


Sequris Group is focused on combining leading information technology security products and professional advisory services to help organizations manage security, achieve compliance and limit threats and vulnerabilities. With our recent growth and success we are currently looking to find the right candidate for an Outside Sales and Account Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate existing renewal business of existing account base.
  • Identity all key stakeholders and strategize, arrange, and moderate onsite visits.
  • Expand and grow the existing account base through prospecting.
  • Self-report Scorecard & Rocks weekly, on-time & accurately.
  • Full compliance and utilization of all assigned Sequris Group sales tools.
  • In cooperation with the Marketing team, aide in the generation of leads through participation in marketing events and vendor call blitzes.
  • Utilize generated leads, telemarketing activities, and contracted vendors to generate the required number of appointments and sales as defined in your 90-day objectives and quarter-driven Rocks and Scorecards metrics.
  • Contribute to solving the Group Issues through the Level 10 meeting format.
  • Communicate proactively with all Vendors regarding the status of deals.
  • Learn the products and services offered by Sequris Group.

Qualifications: 

To perform this job successfully an individual must have proven sales experience in cultivating leads, managing a sales funnel, developing successful client relationships, and effectively presenting customer specific solutions. This person must be able to communicate effectively with clients, executives, management, and internal personnel. This person must be able to think, act, and react strategically, manage multi-task assignments, and work independently. The sales account executive must have the ability to design solutions to complex IT problems.

Experience: 

  • Proven technical sales expertise selling complex or large-scale solutions or services (applications, consulting, compliance solutions, etc).
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite  (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Strong intrinsic motivation to succeed.
  • Experience with Check Point, Websense, F5, Source Fire, Blue Coat and Imperva (helpful, not required).

Sales Support & Project Coordinator (Denver, CO)

We are seeking an experienced Sales Support or Project Coordinator to take on this new regional role. This position is immediate hire.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve and maintain expertise in our product and service offerings.
  • Assist the team with all customer related matters including phone and email communication, document creation and facilitation.
  • Responsible for all pre- and post-sales support ensuring our clients have a positive experience working with Sequris.
  • Be the single point of contact knowing the status of a deal at all times and learn how to move deal through our internal processes.
  • Work closely with outside sales professional services, and our clients as a liaison between sales and operations.
  • Quote creation and follow-up using online vendor tools and internal tools for new business and renewals.
  • Procurement including PO creation, order confirmation, CRM updates, RMA processing, issue resolution, and packing/shipping.

 Desired Skills & Experience: 

  • 1-2 years sales support or project coordinator experience.
  • B2B sales support experience a plus.
  • Engaging and warm phone presence that exudes confidence.

Event Response Internship (MI, AZ, or CO Remote)

Get in the door on the ground floor of Information Security! Our part-time, paid Information Security internship lasts 90-days and gives you direct client and security operation center (SOC) access. We offer you the opportunity to work first-hand with information security experts facing real-world security issues. This opportunity is great for those looking for real-world Information Security experiences. Internship extensions and promotion opportunities are available to those who excel in this role!

Responsibilities:

 

  • Work remotely as part of our SOC team
  • Actively respond to real-world cyber attacks and triage incoming requests to our SOC.
  • Learn our SEQ|OPS solutions and ticketing system.
  • Collaborate with other IT security professionals to provide exceptional support and problem resolution.
  • Review alerts and determine the cause. As needed, escalate emergency issues to 24x7 on-call Network Security Engineer.
  • Work with best-of-breed vendor technologies including Check Point, Blue Coat, Barracuda, and F5.
  • Assist Information Security Engineers with research into tickets and following up on tickets on the board.
  • Participate in weekly team meetings.
  • Special projects as needed.

 

 Requirements:

  • Pursuing Bachelor or Master degree in Cyber Security, Information Assurance, Networking or related field
  • Overall GPA 3.0 or greater
  • Residence in Michigan, Arizona or Colorado
  • Graduate within two years of application date
  • Have internet, computer and dedicated work space in your home. This role is remote.
  • Flexibility to work 3-4 shifts weekly, 6 hours per shift, staffing our 24x7 desk. Hours worked are outside of 6a-6p EDT.
