Infrastructure Administrator
Thursday, June 2, 2011 at 12:50PM Provide exceptional customer service maintaining operational infrastructure facilitating the delivery of 24x7 customer information security support services. Installs new software releases and system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches, and resolves software related problems. Performs system backups and recovery. Maintains data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within IT management. Works effectively without immediate supervision. Some travel required.
Requirements:
Maintain a SANS GISF certification (or equivalent) or attains certification in the first 90 days of employment.
Maintain a Check Point Certified Security Administrator (CCSA) certification within 12 months of hire.
Maintain an active SecureVue certification within 12 months of hire.
Maintain competency in at least one complimentary technology (Sourcefire, Websense, Bluecoat, F5, Imperva, RSA)
2-4 years of network/prorgramming/systems experience

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Administration of all internal systems at IT RO DC and IT AZ DC including:
- IT AZ DC ESX VM environment
- Back-Office infrastructure (windows domain)
- Barracuda mail archiver
- Websense DLP
- Backup server
- RSA SecureID server
- IT RO DC Altigen phone server
- IT RO DC IdentiPass server
- IT RO DC domain controller
- All endpoint devices
- OWA server
- Administration of the following SEQ|OPS systems including:
- Algosec firewall analyzer
- Nexpose scanning console
- eIQ SecureVue cluster
- SEQ|OPS portal services
- All SEQ|OPS hardware hosted at PNAP
- Troubleshoot to resolution internal helpdesk support tickets
- Troubleshoot to resolution SEQ|OPS platform support tickets
- Reporting and communication on key metrics and systems
- Recommend and evaluate additional technologies to improve SG infrastructure and system performance
- Interact with data center staff and outsourced IT resources to ensure system updates and uptime requirements are met
- Monitor customer SOC systems (backups, availability, logging, status, etc)
- Performs other minor technical support tasks and provides technical assistance as needed to customers and co-workers
Experience and Education Requirements:
- College Degree in ISDS/MIS, Computer Science or other technical field, or related industry experience
- An excellent attendance record and has a positive, helpful attitude.
- Proven track record of exemplarily client service.
- Professional knowledge of packet analysis, SOC system architecture and a proven ability to multi-task.
- Knowledge of basic security auditing tools such as NMAP, Nessus, NetCat, HPing, network scanners, password crackers and packet capture tools is a PLUS.
