Sequris Group and Phoenix NAP to Offer Security Insights to Area Businesses

Phoenix, AZ, May 27, 2010 – Phoenix NAP®, a next generation datacenter and network access point, and Sequris, a leader in information security systems, announced today an event designed to help area businesses and technology personnel better understand the varied approaches and techniques that can be used in designing and managing a secure datacenter environment.

Focusing on both the virtual and physical sides of data security, the unique lunch presentation will include topics ranging from safeguarding vital business data in the cloud, to implementing least privilege logical access control in physical spaces, to encrypting virtual access, and more.

An underlying theme of the event is to illustrate how a cost-effective, secure, and reliable datacenter environment can be built and maintained while meeting today’s data-intensive needs through industry best practices and operating principles.

The lunch presentation will be held on Tuesday, June 29 at Phoenix NAP, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Following the event, attendees can take a guided tour of the next generation datacenter facility if they choose.
